The "2018 Nantou Hot Spring Season" press conference was grandly held on the morning of the 6th in the first-floor lobby of the county government building. Deputy County Magistrate Chen Zheng-sheng invited Councilors Zhang Wei-hua and Zhang Zhi-ming, along with hot spring and restaurant operators from the 3 major hot spring areas, to jointly activate the hot spring thermometer, officially announcing the warm start of the "2018 Nantou Hot Spring Season" and inviting people from all over the country to come to Nantou to soak in great springs, taste distinctive local cuisine, enjoy a slow-paced and joyful tour of Nantou, and also spend and enter to win big prizes, achieving multiple benefits at once.

Deputy County Magistrate Chen Zheng-sheng stated that the seasons have now entered winter, the best time of year for soaking in hot springs while enjoying the scenery. Nantou is one of the most popular hot spring areas in the country, and the county government has specially joined hands with operators from the 3 major hot spring areas to hold the "2018 Nantou Hot Spring Season" launch press conference, promoting hot spring itineraries and distinctive cuisine and scenery in each hot spring area, and inviting people from all over the country to experience the most distinctive hot spring light travel.

Deputy County Magistrate Chen Zheng-sheng pointed out that the hot spring season will kick off on the 10th with the Puli Hot Spring Area's "i Slow Play - Puli Hot Spring Intellectual Tour" at Tianquan Hot Spring Resort, calling on travelers to experience sodium bicarbonate spring water together, taste local hot spring specialty dishes, and make creative paper art in a DIY activity, both delicious and fun! On that day, Tianquan Hot Spring Resort will also open its outdoor SPA pool free of charge for visitors to experience hot spring bathing; next, on December 1, the Dongpu Hot Spring Area will take over, featuring the most popular torch and yukata street parade activity. Participating visitors can also receive free yukata, hold torches while strolling on a winter night, enjoy the Bunun people's eight-part harmony harvest song, and savor the distinctive cuisine of a Bunun feast. The finale event will be grandly launched by the Beigang River Hot Spring Area on December 2 at the Atayal Resort, and on the day of the event, people from all over Taiwan, China will be admitted free of charge and allowed to experience the hot springs.
