Stop using the attic for clutter - these days the trend is to turn it into a kids' room
I wonder if everyone likes apartment buildings? Our grandparents' generation all feel that apartment buildings are not as comfortable to live in as single-story houses, and if the floor is too high, it feels even worse. Huahua's grandpa came to Huahua's home, and in less than an hour he wanted to go down and take a stroll. They say elderly people at home just can't sit still, and it seems that's really true.
Even though grandparents think this way, those of us used to living in apartment buildings have basically grown familiar with this lifestyle and have gradually come to take it for granted. Still, in calm days there are always new and different things that appear. A few days ago, Huahua went to a friend's home as a guest. Originally this friend lived on the top floor, and I even complained a bit about how it was so high, but when I got to their home I was truly stunned.
This is because their home is not just a top floor, but above the top floor there is also a small attic! Generally speaking, top-floor apartments come with a small attic, and if you decorate it carefully, you really will be amazed!
After coming back, Huahua thought, that's true - why can't an attic be properly decorated and turned into a nice place for rest and leisure, instead of only being a chaotic storage space piled with clutter? Huahua's friend said it was precisely because she took a liking to this top floor coming with a small attic that she had her dad buy it.
The attic they bought was exactly as she wished, arranged into a tiny little study. In here, you can not only avoid the main public areas and read a book quietly, but also give your little hobbies ample space to be satisfied. It really is a very nice thing!
A small attic can not only satisfy your little hobbies, but decorating it as a place for afternoon tea is also not bad. If there are little kids at home, Huahua also suggests decorating the small attic into a tiny children's playroom. Kids love to romp around, so everyone had better not install furniture with sharp corners up there. Laying down a big rug is very nice.
Put their favorite toys inside, and when other kids come over there is still space to play together. Since there are no sharp things placed in the attic, it's okay even without parents watching, and it also lets parents feel at ease doing other things.
