The plant we are going to introduce below is the neem tree (Azadirachta indica). It is a very fast-growing deciduous tree, recognized in 2013 as the world's ideal pesticidal plant, and it is a tree that grows in tropical and subtropical regions. The neem tree has many uses, including medicinal and culinary purposes, and the most common one is making pesticide.

The seeds, leaves and bark of the neem tree can all be used to make insecticide, and its mosquito-repelling effect is especially good. It is non-toxic, so you can make some organic insecticide yourself.

If you are a friend living in a more southern region, you can plant a neem tree in your yard and occasionally pick up some branches and leaves to make natural insecticide.

The neem oil made from the neem tree can repel the most common aphids, scale insects, whiteflies, aphids, etc., and can also control fungal diseases. The seeds of the neem tree are used to extract neem oil. It can be made by grinding the seeds, or the seeds can be dried and ground into powder to make insecticide.

You can cut off the branches of the neem tree together with the leaves, then remove the leaves, and finally collect the leaves and put them into a bucket. The leaves should be chopped as finely as possible, so that a more effective insecticidal solution can be made.

These leaves can be chopped directly with a food processor, and you can add some seeds and small twigs. Of course, you can also chop them directly with a knife. Prepare a sharp knife and a cutting board, and you can chop the branches and leaves of the neem tree as finely as possible.

The leaves of the neem tree should be soaked in a plastic bucket. I generally add about 1/3 leaves and 2/3 clean water. After filling it, cover it with a lid and soak it in clean water at room temperature for about three days.

During this time, you will smell a scent somewhat like urine and onions, which proves that it has been made successfully. This insecticidal solution is very effective at killing insects.

Before making the insecticidal solution, you need to prepare some mesh cloth to filter out all the residue. The resulting solution can be diluted with water and then sprayed directly on the places infected with fungal diseases or pests. To enhance the insecticidal effect, you can add some vegetable oil or soapy water to the solution, in order to increase the solution's adhesion.

Before spraying these insecticides on plants, you can first test it on one plant infected with pests or diseases. If the effect is good, you can spray it all over. This method is very effective, even better than bought pesticides. Of course, you can also buy some neem oil yourself.
