Several easy-to-grow vegetables that will thrive once planted in soil, so your home will never be short of greens

When buying vegetables as usual, many people end up with leftovers; throwing them away feels like a shame, but if you don't, they won't be edible the next day either, which is truly wasteful. Actually, if you love growing plants, you can take those leftover vegetables and with a simple bit of handling grow a fresh little potted plant. Let's take a look below!
Onion potted plant
First, take a not-too-deep container, preferably a cup with a small opening, then place the onion into the cup and add an appropriate amount of clean water, just enough so the water level barely touches the onion. Basically, within about a week it will take root and sprout, and growing it on a table gives a fresh visual appeal. What's more, an onion potted plant also has antibacterial and cold-fighting effects.
Carrot potted plant
First, find a carrot, then cut it 3cm from the top of the carrot, place it in a container filled with water, then change the water every 2 days to keep the water clean, and put it in an environment with scattered light; soon it will grow small tender sprouts. If you want the carrot leaves to stand upright, you can put it in a deeper container, and once the stems and leaves grow taller, move it to a shallower container.
Lettuce potted plant
First, prepare a relatively deep container, then add some clean water to the container, then put the leftover lettuce stems into the water; you can put in several at once, and soon they will grow lush green leaves. You can grow it in the kitchen, and when you want to eat it, just pick it directly, since it will quickly grow back anyway.
Ginger potted plant
First, put the ginger into a clean container, then you can use toothpicks to hold the ginger in place, then add an appropriate amount of water, with the water level not exceeding half of the ginger. Soon it will grow small tender sprouts. If you have a deep flower pot, you can transplant it into soil, so that you can not only enjoy it as an ornamental plant but also harvest fresh ginger.
