Growing mushrooms on the balcony as potted plants: in just over a month there are more than you can eat

More and more people like growing potted vegetables at home. They can not only be enjoyed like potted flowers, but also eaten as vegetables. It kills two birds with one stone. Some gardening enthusiasts grow mushrooms on the balcony as potted plants. They are more durable than pothos, spider plants and orchids. Many friends do not know how to grow mushrooms the first time. Last year I also bought mushroom bags online; perhaps there were too few mushroom spawn inside, so only a few grew before they stopped growing.
I used to buy them from an acquaintance, and after taking them home and watering them a little, there were more than I could eat, so some of the ones bought online are deceptive. With the money spent on mushroom spawn, it is more economical to just go to the vegetable market and buy some to eat. Last year I spent sixty or seventy yuan on mushroom spawn, and the mushrooms that grew were worth at most ten yuan if bought at the vegetable market, so I will not be fooled again in the future. If any of you want to eat them, go to the vegetable market or supermarket and buy them; do not get cheated like I did. After I started buying them last year, several of my colleagues bought them too, and in the end all of them got ripped off.
When mushrooms are grown as potted plants, 1 pot becomes 10 pots, you do not need to spend a single cent, you can eat for 2 months, and get a flush every 7 days!
You can buy mushroom bags online. After receiving the mushroom bag, prepare a large plastic or cardboard box, line the inside of the cardboard box with a waterproof film, pour in a cup of water, tear open the newspaper and the mushroom bag, and use a clamp-like device, then wrap it in a plastic bucket; of course, if you have a foam box, you can also place it on the bubble wrap inside the box.
You can sprinkle a little water on the soil in the bag, and the bag can generally hold and retain water, so keeping the bag moist later on is very simple. Next, cover the top of the bucket with a sheet of newspaper and moisten the newspaper with a watering can. Do this once in the morning and once in the evening; you can also spray a few more times to keep the newspaper moist.
We should pay attention when watering the newspaper: as long as we moisten the newspaper, try to avoid dripping too much water on the surface of the material. When we water the newspaper every day, we can move the newspaper. One reason is to let the bag underneath breathe, and the other is to see whether mushroom buds have grown. If there are mushroom buds, you can appropriately increase the number of sprays, but do not use too much water, and do not soak the surface of the material. If water is found on the surface of the material, take the bag out in time and pour off the excess water.
After about 7 days you can see the growing mushrooms. Once the mushroom buds appear, they must not remain covered by the newspaper; after that, the newspaper must be opened every day and moisture must be increased. Mushrooms like to grow in a humid, ventilated, dark environment. We can also place a wet towel or paper napkin on the mushroom bag, spray water directly on the paper towel every day, and keep it moist.
With this growth cycle, there are fresh mushrooms to eat at home. Here is a special note about picking mushrooms: do not pick them one by one, but break off a whole cluster. As long as you control the humidity and temperature required by the growing environment, the mushrooms can grow quickly.
