Bananas are a fruit everyone loves to eat. They taste especially sweet and also help cleanse the intestines and relieve constipation, so we all enjoy eating them. Best of all, you just peel one and can eat it right away, with no need to peel off a skin, and it is very simple. Of course, every time we finish eating a banana, we definitely throw the peel away. In fact, there is no need to put up with throwing away banana peels after eating; we can use them as a raw material for fertilizing, and they can promote very good growth in our plants.

For plants, banana peels can be used as fertilizer in three ways, applied to the plants, and of course different methods also have different promoting effects on plants. It is up to you which method you like to use to handle banana peels.

First, nutrient solution.

We can make banana peels into a nutrient solution and then apply it to plants. This can increase the nutrients for the plants and promote plant growth. So how should we do it? First, collect the peels left after eating bananas, then cut the banana peels into pieces with a knife and put them into a sealed plastic bottle. Then pour clean water into the plastic bottle, and the water must cover the banana peels in the bottle.

Then we need to put the lid on tightly and place it under the sun to bake. After about a week, you will find that the clean water has become very cloudy, which shows that our banana peels have already fermented. This is the nutrient solution we have made. If we want to apply this effect to food, we cannot apply it directly; it must be diluted with water about 20 times before it can be applied to plants. Otherwise, the plants will not be able to stand its high concentration of nutrients and will die directly. When we apply the nutrient solution, watering once a week is enough.

Second, fertilizer.

Banana peels contain very rich potassium, which is one of the elements plants need most, so we can make banana peels into fertilizer. Most importantly, banana peels rot very easily. Even if we do not eat the banana, many small black spots will grow on its surface, which shows that the banana peel has already begun to rot. So if we put banana peels on the soil, when the banana peels rot, they will easily be absorbed by the soil.

In order to speed up this decomposition, we first need to cut the banana peels into pieces with a knife, then bury them in the soil. We can also make fertilizer separately, that is, directly spread one layer in a flower pot, then spread a layer of banana peels, then spread a layer of sugar, and repeat like this until the flower pot is full. Then place the flower pot under the sun to bake. In this way, after the banana peels have finished fermenting, the soil in the flower pot can be used directly to grow flowers, and the effect is very good.

Third, wiping leaves. We can also directly use banana peels to wipe plant leaves. This can also make the plant leaves more shiny. Of course, the dust on the surface will also be removed, and afterward, there will be very little dust on the surface. The leaves of plants in our homes often become very dull because there is too much dust, which looks very bad. Even if we wipe them with a towel, they will not become glossy. But using banana peels is different. The leaves will regain their luster and even be brighter than before.
