There are many rose varieties with rich flower colors, and more and more people like them. Autumn has arrived, and you need to learn how to fertilize roses to ensure the flowers bloom large and vivid!

(1). In early autumn, roses enter their growing period and have a high demand for nutrients, so they need 1 application of a slow-release fertilizer. Fermented organic fertilizer or compound fertilizer can be used, which can continuously provide nutrients and ensure growth. Organic fertilizer can improve the soil, keeping it loose and breathable. Generally, apply it once a month by shallowly burying it around the edge of the pot. Repot once a year, mixing some organic fertilizer into the new soil, which is beneficial to root growth.

(2). In early autumn, often supplement with quick-acting fertilizer. As the temperature gradually drops, control the use of quick-acting fertilizer, otherwise it is easy to cause fertilizer burn.

(3). When roses are about to bloom, appropriately apply fertilizer containing phosphorus and potassium. A potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be used at a ratio of 1:1000, sprayed 2~3 times, and reduce nitrogen fertilizer. This can prevent the growth of new branches and promote larger and more vivid blooms.

(4). Roses are acid-loving flowers, so when fertilizing, you can appropriately apply a little acidic fertilizer water. Fully fermented fruit peel water can be used to keep the soil in a slightly acidic state, which is very beneficial to rose growth.

(5). After roses sprout buds, when the stem nodes grow to about 4 cm, you can spray the branches and leaves with a potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution, spraying once every 5 days. After 3 times, stop once the rose buds show color.

(6). Do not apply concentrated fertilizer. If too much fertilizer is found, repot the soil in time, soak the roots in rooting powder for 3~4 hours, appropriately prune the roots, and then replant.
