A relevant person in charge of the Wuhan Municipal Garden and Forestry Bureau introduced that this year's chrysanthemum exhibition highlights the theme of "Welcoming the Military World Games, Building a Beautiful Wuhan," with sports elements featured in the designs of chrysanthemum displays, group arrangements and flower arrangements. A total of nearly 2.8 million pots of chrysanthemums are on display, of whichthe main venue, Jiefang Park, has more than 500,000 pots.

He said that compared with last year, this year's exhibition is more innovative, and the display works touch on every aspect of Wuhan's human geography. One display telling the story of Hanzheng Street left a deep impression on the two of them; the scene of figures carrying goods on shoulder poles took them both back to childhood, to the scenes of watching their parents carry loads on shoulder poles.

At the opening ceremony of the Wuchang District chrysanthemum exhibition, Wu Kejun, chief engineer of the Wuhan Municipal Garden and Forestry Bureau, Chen Peng, deputy district head of Wuchang District, main leaders of each subdistrict office in Wuchang District, and heads of relevant departments of the Wuhan Municipal Garden and Forestry Bureau attended the opening ceremony and toured the chrysanthemum exhibition together with the citizen park director volunteer team.
Volunteers usually guide visitors at park attractions, discourage uncivilized behavior, provide help to citizens, and contribute to maintaining Wuhan's city image. Today, they are specially invited to enjoy the beautiful chrysanthemums together.
The theme of the Wuchang District chrysanthemum exhibition is"Flowers Condensed into Paintings, a Great City's Transformation"The entire exhibition area covers nearly 8,000 sq m, with 500,000 pots of chrysanthemums in total, including varieties such as Ziyun Zhuiyue, Qianshou Guanyin and Gushui Luping. With "Welcoming the Military World Games" as the main thread, the "Leaping River City" display integrates Wuhan elements such as the Yellow Crane Tower, the TV Tower and Guiyuan Temple, building a red bridge in a sea of flowers to link visitors from all directions and let them immerse themselves in the blooms.

At the opening ceremony of the Qingshan District chrysanthemum exhibition, the Civilization Office of Hongwei Road Subdistrict held a "Special Publicity and Volunteer Service Activity for the One-Year Countdown to the Wuhan Military World Games," organizing dozens of plant teachers to popularize basic tips on home flower growing for citizens, patiently answering the problems they encounter in growing flowers at home, and distributing 100 pots of spider plants to citizens. At the same time, volunteers also promoted knowledge such as "Welcoming the Military World Games with Civility" and "Greening Law Popularization" to citizens.
Badajia Hongfangli Commercial Street is the core area of the upcoming "Heart of Peace" development in preparation for the Military World Games. A total of 35,000 pots of chrysanthemums of various types, including variety chrysanthemums, dragon chrysanthemums, upright chrysanthemums and tower chrysanthemums, are on display, presenting a sumptuous chrysanthemum feast.

At 9:00 a.m. on October 18, the 2018 Golden Autumn Chrysanthemum Exhibition of the Wuhan Development Zone (Hannan District) opened.
Dou Zhi, deputy director of the district people's congress standing committee; Wang Yang, deputy director of the district management committee (district government) and deputy district head; Li Cheng, vice chairman of the district CPPCC; and leaders in charge of units including the district party committee publicity department, finance bureau, construction bureau, urban management bureau, environmental protection bureau, traffic management bureau, Jingkai Investment Company, General Aviation Industrial Park Office, Sports Center, Junshan Subdistrict, Dunyang Subdistrict, Shamao Subdistrict and Chedou Group attended the opening activities.
Against the background of "Cleaning the Homeland, Beautifying the Environment, Welcoming the Military World Games," the Wuhan Development Zone (Hannan District)"Flowers Fill the Auto City, Welcoming the Military World Games"took as its theme the arrangement of nearly 10,000 sq m of exhibition area, using premium chrysanthemum materials such as Shuangman Tian, Mailang, Guohua Qiangda, Jinbei Dahong and Bianliang Wanhong, and combining sound, light and electricity and other artistic techniques to create a grand stage for everyone to share in the floral event.

The Wuhan Huabohui scenic area focuses on chrysanthemum group displays, mounted chrysanthemum art and large field-style chrysanthemum flower seas, displaying various rare chrysanthemum varieties on a large scale, enhancing the richness and ornamental value of the exhibition and bringing visitors a better touring experience.

Compared with previous years, this year's chrysanthemum exhibition has a more complete range of varieties, greater quantities and richer landscapes. In addition, to let chrysanthemums meet the public during the National Day holiday, gardening staff put great effort into flower cultivation and blooming-period control, enabling the chrysanthemums to bloom on schedule and extending the blooming period as much as possible.

This golden autumn chrysanthemum exhibition takes the "Military World Games" as its theme and features about 1,000 large three-dimensional sculptures, among which themed floral displays such as the "Zhiyin Flower Basket," "Flowers Poured from a Water Vat," "Coiled Dragon Fish," "Fluttering Butterflies" and "Twelve Chinese Zodiac Animals" are placed respectively at the Flower God Square, the Four Seasons Flower Sea and the Floy Flower Town.
The rich three-dimensional sculptures not only fully display the individual beauty of various artistic chrysanthemums, but also allow artistic chrysanthemums of different shapes to blend into their respective artistic conceptions, showcasing the unique charm of artistic chrysanthemums to the greatest extent.

At the opening ceremony of the Jiangxia District chrysanthemum exhibition, a fan dance welcomed the most beautiful floral event of the golden autumn. Moving slowly like blue clouds and spinning swiftly like a whirlwind, the graceful dance expressed expectations for a better life and heightened the atmosphere of the event.
Jiangxia District links the chrysanthemum exhibition with the district's cultural characteristics and its landscape and pastoral scenery, with more than 30 chrysanthemum art works, nearly 30 varieties and more than 5,000 pots of chrysanthemums.
