Propagating cuttings in plastic cups: roots in ten days, growing pot after pot of nonstop blooms

Growing flowers at home doesn't mean you have to buy potted plants at the flower and bird market. You can also do it yourself and propagate many potted plants very easily. Growing flowers isn't such a complicated business. Many flowers are even easier to keep alive and easier to root from cuttings than we imagine. With more flowers at home, the balcony becomes a romantic little garden. So which flowers are both beautiful and easy to root from cuttings? How do you propagate more potted flowers from cuttings?
If you want to grow flowers, take these two beautiful kinds: with one plastic cup and one stem, they grow roots in ten days, and you can grow many pots of flowers that bloom nonstop!
At home, after guests drink water, many of these plastic cups get thrown away once used. But we can recycle them, and they are especially suitable for rooting flower cuttings, because they are transparent, so you can see at a glance whether roots have grown or not, and they are also fairly easy to work with.
Just burn a few small holes in the bottom with a piece of wire, or cut about five small holes, then add some soil, sand, vermiculite, peat, or the like, and it is ready for rooting flower cuttings.
Bougainvillea, also called paperflower, if well grown, blooms for several months a year. If you have bougainvillea at home, or there is bougainvillea growing nearby, cut a few stems and stick them directly into the cup to root. Propagate as many pots as you want.
After taking the cuttings, do not put them in the sun. Spray a little water often to keep some air humidity, and they will gradually grow roots and sprout.
Once the root system has grown full enough, they can be transplanted into flower pots. Give them more sun and more fertilizer, and they will bloom more and more.
Chinese rose, Xiaoya thinks that in spring, autumn, and winter, except for summer, Chinese roses can all be propagated from cuttings. They root fairly easily. Use a plastic cup filled with soil containing coarse stone. Punch holes in the bottom of the plastic cup, then put water in the tray underneath, and refill the water when it dries up.
For Chinese rose cuttings, choose stems that have growth buds, soak them in rooting water, and after planting them as cuttings, they can grow roots in just over ten days.
After the Chinese rose is potted up, do not fertilize immediately. Wait until the leaves stand up and small leaves grow out, then start fertilizing and increasing light. The young plant will grow bigger and bigger, begin to produce flower buds, and bloom.
Looking at the flowers you rooted from cuttings with your own hands, from sprouting and growing roots to blooming, gives you a great sense of achievement. Seeing the beautiful flowers continuously blooming every day puts you in a great mood!
