Kalanchoe, Christmas cactus, and azaleas are flowers that gardening enthusiasts love very much, and now their blooming season is approaching again, so how can you make them bloom profusely and produce more and more flowers? Today, the editor will share with you my many years of care experience; once you learn it, I guarantee your kalanchoe, Christmas cactus, and azaleas will bloom until they are bursting with flowers, and will bloom continuously year after year.

Kalanchoe: Kalanchoe is a short-day plant and is not strict about light, growing well under full sun, partial sun, and diffused light conditions. The suitable growing temperature is 15-25°C. In hot summer, pay attention to ventilation and shading, and avoid direct strong sunlight. In winter, the lowest temperature must not be below 5°C; when the temperature is low, the leaves easily turn red. For plants with good growth and development, after short-day treatment (8-9 hours of light per day, with the rest of the time shaded, flower buds can form in 20-30 days). Before flower buds form in autumn or during the process of flower bud formation, apply 1-2 additional rounds of monopotassium phosphate solution each time. This can make it bloom more and have a longer flowering period.

Christmas cactus: It fears high temperatures and stuffiness, and avoids cold and frost; the overwintering temperature needs to be kept above 5°C. The suitable temperature during the growth period of Christmas cactus is 18-23°C, and the flowering temperature is preferably 10-15°C, not exceeding 25°C, with maintaining around 15°C being best; in winter the temperature should not be lower than 10°C. Christmas cactus is a short-day plant, so it can only bud and bloom under short-day conditions. To make Christmas cactus bloom profusely, you only need to master three points: 1. Water less, keep it on the dry side, and just keep the soil moist. 2. Spray the stem segments with monopotassium phosphate; one month before flowering, spray the leaves with a 0.2% monopotassium phosphate solution, spraying 2-3 times in succession, which can make it produce more flowers, larger flowers, and a longer flowering period.

Azaleas: Azaleas like a warm, humid, cool-air, ventilated, and semi-shaded environment. They require acidic, fertile, loose soil rich in organic matter and with good drainage. In summer, avoid direct sunlight and provide shade, spray water frequently, and maintain air humidity. After September-October, reduce shading to help flower bud differentiation. The overwintering temperature should be above 5°C. Frequently spray water on the leaves, and spray monopotassium phosphate once every half month, three times in total. For watering, you can use water soaked with orange peel to adjust the pH of the soil, so as to help bud formation and flowering.
