When it comes to growing flowers, the more diligent you are does not mean the more you harvest, especially with some common green plants; some do not need frequent watering and fertilizing to grow very well, so here are several green plants that are very suitable for rough, low-maintenance care, excessive attention instead makes them grow poorly!

1. Aloe

Aloe is very easy to care for, it very easily grows side shoots and can easily burst out of its pot, especially aloe that has adapted to outdoor growing, which can still bloom splendidly no matter the wind and rain, though outdoor-grown aloe also needs to be moved indoors when the outside temperature drops below 5°C, otherwise it is prone to frost damage.

2. Geranium

Some friends' geraniums are quite delicate, developing yellow leaves and wilting at the slightest provocation, yet placing them on the balcony for rough, low-maintenance care and watering when it is dry produces geraniums that grow very luxuriantly and bloom continuously.

Geraniums are green plants very well suited to rough, low-maintenance care; when caring for them, give them loose, fertile, well-draining sandy loam soil, ensure ample light during normal care, take care to shade them in summer, and give a dilute liquid fertilizer once a month, which ensures the geraniums' rapid growth. When caring for them, avoid frequent watering, as this easily causes root rot and yellow leaves, and also causes leggy branches and foliage, making blooming all the harder, of course.

3. Pennywort

Pennywort's round leaves are just like copper coins and carry the meaning of generating wealth, making it deeply loved by flower growers; pennywort is very well suited to rough, low-maintenance care, and during normal care you only need to ensure two things, ample water and ample light, to grow it very well; generally the half-water half-soil method is best for caring for it, while soil-grown pennywort needs frequent watering, which is rather troublesome, so the half-water half-soil method is more suitable.

4. Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe belongs to the succulent plants, so watering should normally be controlled; watering too frequently not only fails to make it grow strong, but also easily causes root rot and yellow leaves, making blooming all the harder. Kalanchoe should not be cared for too delicately; apart from the high temperatures of summer, it should get plenty of light in the other seasons, and avoid keeping it in an overly shady environment.

Kalanchoe's flowering period falls during the Christmas and Spring Festival period, and the flowering period is very long, making it a holiday flower used to complement the festive atmosphere; it has high ornamental value, with a small and exquisite plant, emerald-green leaves and dense flowers, and it is a major ornamental potted plant of the winter and spring seasons.

5. Snake plant

The snake plant has tenacious vitality and is relatively drought- and shade-tolerant, with outstanding air-purifying ability, making it a green plant very well suited to indoor care; the snake plant can also absorb carbon dioxide at night, so it is also fairly well suited to being kept in the bedroom; the snake plant does not need frequent attention in care, as it rather likes a warm, shaded environment, needs no more than a little light in care, and merely requires a ventilated, bright growing environment.
