Use plastic bottles for growing flowers and the flowers grow big and beautiful

Now that people's living standards have improved, life always produces a lot of drink and mineral water bottles, and people always just throw them away after drinking the water, which is too wasteful. In the hands of someone who knows about growing flowers, these things become treasures!
For example, plastic bottles are all kinds of wonderful tools for growing flowers,
such as: keeping warm, flower pots, watering, propagation, and so on,
everything becomes very simple!
Plastic bottles - cuttings
Plastic bottles are suitable for the cuttings of Chinese rose, bougainvillea, osmanthus, camellia,
geranium and most other flowers.
1. Do not pour out the mineral water or purified water in the plastic bottle,
just use the water inside for cuttings; the water quality is clean,
and it is not easy for the roots to rot or the stems to turn black.
2. Cut several branches; Chinese rose,
bougainvillea, camellia and others are all fine.
Cut the lower end of the branch at a slant to increase the contact area with the water.
Note: branches of woody flowers such as Chinese rose can be used for cuttings directly,
while branches of herbaceous flowers such as geranium need to be dried for 1 day before inserting.
3. Insert the branch vertically into the plastic bottle,
and be sure to keep the leaves on the branch; the more the better,
so the leaves can carry out photosynthesis,
provide nutrients for the branch, and make rooting easier.
4. Pour mineral water or purified water into the bottle,
about 0.5-1 cm or so,
just keep the water level covering the end of the branch,
do not pour too much.
5. Place the plastic bottle with the inserted branch in a place with plenty of light,
note that this is not direct blazing sun.
When the water in the bottle decreases, add more in time,
and after a few weeks, the branch will grow roots.
6. When taking out the branch,
just cut the plastic bottle open directly,
so the roots will not be damaged.
After taking it out, transplant it.
Using plastic bottles to take succulent cuttings
Succulent propagation is so fascinating; a single small leaf can grow into a new plant. Every time I go to the flower market and see fallen leaves, I pick them up, and when I see that a friend has a new variety, I definitely have to get a leaf. But after getting home, whether it can root successfully is not certain. The little method below can make your succulent leaves root and sprout quickly:
Materials to prepare: succulent leaves, plastic bottle, scissors, water
1. Choose healthy, pest-free, robustly growing succulent leaves, pick them off, and put them in a cool, ventilated place to dry for two days.
2. Use scissors to poke several holes in the plastic bottle, just big enough to fit the head of a succulent leaf. Then poke another hole at the bottom of the bottle to add water into the bottle. The operation is shown in the schematic diagram.
3. Inject an appropriate amount of water into the bottom of the plastic bottle; note that the amount of water added should not exceed the water-filling hole made at the bottom of the bottle. Then place the leaves upward and insert them into the small holes of the plastic bottle. Put the plastic bottle in a place with diffused light and ventilation, and be careful not to expose it to the sun. Add water whenever the water at the bottom is gone. If the leaves feel shriveled, you can spray some water on the leaves. The operation is shown in the diagram below:
4. The moisture at the bottom of the plastic bottle can promote the leaves to root and sprout, and they will not be infected by pathogens in the soil. Soon, small plants will grow on the leaves, and at that point you can take them out and plant them in soil.
DIY flower pots
Friends who like DIY can give it a try,
as long as you have scissors, paint, rope and glue
(of course, be careful when using scissors to ensure safety)!
Anyway, my family never buys flower pots for growing vegetables and flowers,
we just take plastic bottles, cut them, and add a little paint,
and they are even prettier than bought ones.
Cut the plastic bottle and paint the bottle body with cartoon characters your own baby loves,
trim the cut bottle mouth (polish it or soften it with high temperature to make the cut bottle mouth smoother),
then plant flowers and plants in it. I think the babies will definitely love it very much.
The silly-cute, adorable lifelike figures make even the editor want to touch them~
(especially the big-eyed Minions below~)
Of course, the cartoon big strawberry is also very cute~
In fact, you can cut a "window" in the bottle body, put a small candle inside (a fake candle is also fine), decorate the outside of the bottle with fake flowers, and place it on the table. Not only does this exquisite ornament look good, it can also create a romantic atmosphere~
Of course, you can also gather plastic bottles together, then paint them and hang them in a row, which can create a different visual effect. Put some soil inside, plant some flowers and plants, and the plants and the color of the bottles set each other off. Placed in a corner of the home courtyard, it becomes a beautiful scenic line in the home~ When neighbors visit and see such a creative wall, they all want it too and keep asking me where I bought it, and I do not tell them!
I remember that when I was in school, collecting bottle caps could be exchanged for prizes. Now the collected bottle caps can be arranged into a small path, colorful, like a rainbow road~
In addition, the cut plastic bottles can also be used to grow vegetables! Vegetables on the market are not cheap now. In the yard or on the balcony at home, you can use these waste empty plastic bottles to grow vegetables, which is environmentally friendly and can also save money!
