Many friends like to brew tea at home, and many of the flowers at home can also be watered with tea water, such as overnight tea. After a night of fermentation, the tea liquid has become slightly acidic, and using it to water acid-loving flowers and plants is very good, such as azaleas, jasmine, spider plants, and so on. But for plants that like alkaline soil, such as roses, chrysanthemums, and cacti, it is not suitable.

3 kinds of flowers like to "drink tea water", "drink" once every 10 days, the leaves turn glossy green and they grow vigorously!

The first kind: azalea

Overnight tea can be used to water azaleas. Sometimes the tea leaves left in the tea can also be poured into the flower pot together, but it is best not to pour them in frequently. Every so often, use the opportunity of loosening the soil to bury the dried tea leaves into the soil. This can improve the soil quality. They can also be dried in the sun, and when a certain amount has been collected, mix in some soil and ferment it. For azaleas this is very good, and can make them grow vigorously and burst out of the pot every year.

Care of azaleas: If azaleas bloom too much and for too long, a great deal of nutrients are consumed. Insufficient nutrient supply is also one of the reasons for leaf wilting. Be sure to remove spent flowers in time to reduce useless consumption of nutrients. If small branches sprout from the root branches, they should be cut off in time. These measures can suppress the occurrence of wilting as much as possible.

The second kind: jasmine

Overnight tea can be used to water flowers. For jasmine, it can play a role in preventing and treating disease and enhancing resistance. The leftover tea can be put into a sealed jar, and ferrous sulfate added. If there is none, vinegar and orange peel can be added, which can also change the pH value. After full fermentation and decomposition, it is a very good flower fertilizer.

Care of jasmine: Jasmine likes high temperatures. Generally at a temperature of around 19 degrees, jasmine begins to sprout, and above 25 degrees it forms buds. Generally when the soil moisture content is around 60%, it is favorable for jasmine's root activity, but jasmine is averse to waterlogging. If the potting soil is too wet, it is prone to root rot, leaf drop, and even death.

The third kind: spider plant

Overnight tea water still contains vitamin-type substances. Using overnight tea water to water potted spider plants is very beneficial to the growth of spider plant roots. If spider plants need fertilizing, the fertilizer should mainly be nitrogen fertilizer. But varieties with golden centers and golden edges should not be given excessive nitrogen fertilizer, otherwise the linear markings on the leaves will become less obvious. Spider plants are suitable for growing in a humid air environment. If the air is dry, they grow poorly, with small leaves and withered yellow tips. Therefore, during the vigorous growth period, water should be sprayed on the leaf surface 1-2 times a day to increase air humidity.
