Oncidium Twinkle is a variety of Oncidium among orchids and one of the oldest flowers in China, possessing the three beauties of orchids: "fragrance," "flowers," and "leaves," as well as "clear qi," "clear color," "clear spirit," and "clear charm," making it the most ideal ornamental flower for living rooms, bedrooms, and offices.

Compact fragrant miniature Oncidium Twinkle, with many flowers and an exceptionally strong scent, produces many flower spikes when it blooms; a single mature plant can send out two to four spikes, and each spike bears dozens to nearly a hundred flowers, so at bloom time they are densely packed and the fragrance rushes at you. Oncidium Twinkle is small and lovely. The flowers are lightly fragrant, carrying a hint of chocolate scent, and the blooming period is long; it is suitable for places with scattered light, such as a living room with slanting sunlight, an office, or a balcony, and the flowers are strange and lovely.

If the temperature is suitable, Oncidium Twinkle can bloom all year round. Its peak blooming season is in autumn and winter, and in some places in winter and spring. As an ornamental plant, Oncidium Twinkle is a relatively high-grade variety among orchids, with fairly high ornamental value; many flower lovers like to grow it and like to keep a pot at home or in the office, which makes people feel very comfortable and also very much at ease.

Oncidium Twinkle prefers a warm environment. Partial sun; in summer it must not be in direct sunlight, and in winter when the sunlight is too strong it also needs shading. During the growing period keep the potting soil moist; in winter during dormancy reduce or stop watering, replacing it with appropriate misting. In summer, misting can increase ambient humidity. After the flowers finish, the flower stems need to be cut off. Orchids have fleshy roots and are suited to sandy loam rich in humus; drainage must be good, and leaf mold or mountain soil with more humus should be chosen, as well as slightly acidic loose soil or iron-containing soil. During the flower spike growing period, give full sunlight and water, as well as a well-ventilated environment, so that the flower stems will be thick and strong and there will be more branching flowers.
