Why would a fish worth thousands of yuan be slammed to the ground 4 times in a row?
Shocking! Recently a piece of news blew up: an arowana was put into a plastic bag by a fishkeeper and frantically slammed against the ground 4 times. After seeing it, this editor could not hold back the mighty force inside! Although the arowana was not seriously hurt afterward, it is really hard to guarantee whether there will be aftereffects!
Shipping it to a fishkeeper's home like this really makes one worry for that fishkeeper
The reason is this: the owner of an aquarium shop put a silver arowana, together with water, into a plastic bag, then violently threw it at the ground 4 times. The related process was filmed by someone and posted online for exposure. The shop owner earlier pleaded guilty to the crime of cruelly treating animals. The judge, considering that he went bankrupt afterward and the aquarium shop closed down, with a low chance of reoffending, sentenced him to 6 weeks in prison, suspended for 1 year.
As a fishkeeper, or as a fish seller, how could you tolerate such a thing happening!
If the arowana above was fortunate enough to be wearing "protective clothing," then the following one is truly a sin!

If there is no update tomorrow
That means this editor has already fainted from anger
The following are some comments from fishkeepers:
Fishkeeper A: If you were scammed, please smash it in the unscrupulous shop, and you can also film the fish shop's name and the scene on site, so everyone can condemn them together. You could even throw it in the boss's face. If you just smash it in your own home, it is merely venting anger. Sending a video to the fish seller only shows that he is sick in the head, seriously hurts the hearts of fishkeepers, is indifference to life, and is the behavior of the weak.
Fishkeeper B: This is probably a fish from a foreign food market. Smashing it like this reminds me of killing fish in a food market...
Fishkeeper C: Try smashing it like this yourself, TMD...

New way of keeping fish in sealed easy-open cans
This also counts as cruelty
Keeping fish in a bottle, without feeding or changing the water for a month, do you think that counts as cruelty? A company appeared online and launched "fish in a bottle," putting fish into sealed transparent easy-open cans. It emphasizes that the water is living water, so there is no need to provide oxygen, change the water, or feed feed, and the fish can still live. But netizens complained that this is simply cruelty.
The little fish swims in the water, but it is not in a fish tank; it is in a sealed easy-open can. The transparent bottle body says "surplus year after year" for good luck, and some people also believe that meeting water brings prosperity, arranging it as a feng shui setup. The operator emphasizes that there is no need to change the water, provide oxygen, or feed feed, and the fish can still live well, yet quite a few netizens criticized it, saying the fish may lack oxygen, and will either starve to death or be poisoned to death by its own feces. They demanded that water quality data be published. More people believed that the bottled fish is like being placed in confinement, involving cruelty.
This company, Aqua Angel, is an R&D team formed by four young people with technical backgrounds. It is said that they spent four years and invested over ten million, setting up a factory in Taichung, to develop new technology. This bottled fish is the only one in the world, with microorganisms that decompose excrement, purify water quality, and provide oxygen and food. But the Animal Protection Section of the Council of Agriculture will go to investigate, with a maximum fine of 1 million or imprisonment of less than 1 year.
