German aquascaping competition criticized for poor quality, Hungarian aquascaping is worth a look
The Hungarian Aquascaping Contest, sponsored by Green Aqua (ADA Hungary), is the largest aquatic plant aquascaping competition in Hungary. In the 2016 competition, 4 winners ultimately received special awards (including 3 in the normal tank category and 1 in the mini tank category). It is said that these 4 winners will travel to Portugal for free to visit the Lisbon Oceanarium - the world's largest nature aquarium, the final work of Mr. Takashi Amano. So envious.
The competition's international judges include: Luca Galarraga (Brazil), Juan Puchades (Spain), Filipe Oliveira (Portugal), Adam Paszczela (Poland), Jurijs Jutjajevs (Germany), Ralf Gerlach (Denmark);
