2017 IAPLC World Aquatic Plant Layout Contest Excellence Award work "Sky of Water"

This work is my entry for the 2017 IAPLC World Aquatic Plant Layout Contest (ADA), and I was fortunate to receive the 19th place Excellence Award, and it also received a TOP 10 in the large tank category of the 2017 American AGA Aquascaping Contest.

The name of this work was decided only after the entry photo was taken, because the background was supplemented with light from a light panel, and after shooting, the background had a blue-white band like the sky, so it was named Sky of Water.

The inspiration for this work came from my trip to Angkor Wat in Cambodia early last year. It was a wonderful journey, and the jungle of Angkor Wat made me decide to create an underwater landscape like an ancient castle in a dense forest for the fish to explore.

This work was the earliest one completed last year. The hardscape began to be made in March after returning from Cambodia, and only afterward did I make the two works for IIAC and CIPS. Among the three works, this one should have the worst overall effect. In terms of moss trimming, because my time was spent on the latter two works, the trimming was not very timely, but it still counts as a complete work.
