Watering flowers with rice water is nothing new. As for whether rice water is good for watering flowers, many gardening enthusiasts each hold their own views. Actually, watering flowers with rice water is not out of the question, as long as you master the correct method. It is rich in phosphorus, nitrogen and trace elements and other nutrients needed for flower growth. Applying rice water to irrigate is very beneficial to the growth and development of flowers and trees. This point is certain. It can be used on common potted flowers such as pothos, spider plant and money tree. And there are other things that work no worse than rice water for watering flowers.

Use this "aloe vera juice" to water flowers; it works even better than rice water. Dilute it 30 times, and the pot will burst with growth as soon as you water.

Although aloe vera can also be grown as a potted plant, it can also be used to water flowers. It is rich in nutrients that plants can absorb. Mix aloe vera with water at 1:30 and it can be used to grow flowers. Water a potted pothos at home with a little, and within a week the leaves will be glossy green and shining. If you use aloe vera juice to wipe the leaves, it can also make the leaves even more glossy and green. For example, clivia, which has beautiful leaves and can also bloom, can be treated this way.

Soaked aloe water can also be used to water flowers. Soak the aloe in water for a while, and then you can water with it. If there is too much aloe at home and it is of no use, add some water and blend it with a soy milk maker; it will not be so sticky, and watering a little should be no problem, and it will be nutritious. If there is too much, fermentation (excess heat) can easily burn the roots.

Potted aloe

Many gardening enthusiasts want to grow a beautiful aloe, but do not know how to do it. Next, let's talk about growing and caring for aloe. Aloe mostly likes light. During the growing season, it is best to place it outdoors in a ventilated spot with good light, but in the hot summer season it should be properly shaded. In winter, place it in a sunny spot above 5°C and it can overwinter safely.

Repotting should be done in April in spring. It can also be done in other seasons, but improper management can easily cause it to wither and die. When repotting, you can use a pot one size larger, remove the soil from the outside of the roots and from above and below, and remove rotten roots at the same time. Place a tile shard over the drainage hole, add 2-3 cm of furnace ash, gravel, brick pieces, etc. on top as a drainage layer, add a layer of growing medium on top, then set the plant upright, fill the surrounding area with new soil, firm it gently, and water thoroughly once, until a little water drips from the drainage hole.

The potting soil should have good drainage, water retention, air permeability and fertilizer-holding properties. By the material of the flowerpot, there are clay pots, purple clay pots, porcelain pots, plastic pots, etc. Choose a suitable pot for planting according to personal preference and aesthetic taste. A clay pot with good air permeability is most suitable for growing aloe. If you choose a new pot, it should be soaked thoroughly with water; otherwise, after potting, watering will not easily penetrate the pot, and a half-dry, half-wet pot wall will damage new roots.
