For example, Shi Tou's neighbor, Brother Wang, only likes two kinds of flowers, so on his home balcony he grows only kalanchoe and bougainvillea. He is also an expert at caring for these two kinds of flowers. When autumn comes, his bougainvillea and kalanchoe bloom at the same time, a riot of colors all flowers, and the balcony is like a big dye vat. The flowers blooming at the same time number in the thousands, very stunning and beautiful.

Kalanchoe

Brother Wang grows more than a dozen varieties of kalanchoe on his home balcony. In daily life, he not only carefully tends and prunes them, but also waters and fertilizes the flowers in a timely manner. After kalanchoe finishes blooming in early summer each year, it goes dormant until late autumn, then gradually grows again, develops flower buds, and opens its flowers.

Every summer, Brother Wang prunes the kalanchoe at home once, cutting off all the old branches and dead branches, and does topping treatment on every branch, cutting off 2 cm from the top of the branches so that other side buds grow quickly. Then he gives the plants a quick-acting compound fertilizer once a week (stop fertilizing in high-temperature weather). When autumn comes, he immediately supplements with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to promote the development of flower buds. In this way, kalanchoe not only grows more branches, but these branches can also produce more flower buds, so his kalanchoe can all bloom beautiful, vivid flowers, colorful and densely packed.

Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea is a plant that blooms in summer and autumn. Brother Wang likes bougainvillea very much, so he grows ten potted bougainvillea at home, places them on the balcony, and through careful care, they open beautiful flowers of different colors at the same time in autumn.

When caring for bougainvillea, Brother Wang does one heavy pruning of the plants every spring, cutting off the dense branches, then topping the leggy branches, so the plants grow more new branches in spring and summer. Then when autumn comes, he sprays the plants once a week with a 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate aqueous solution. After spraying continuously for 3 weeks, you will see bougainvillea flower buds growing out densely. Recently it is exactly the peak blooming period of his bougainvillea, and the whole balcony is colorful. The bougainvillea blooming is too spectacular.

Brother Wang only grows bougainvillea and kalanchoe on his home balcony. In autumn, the home balcony blooms into a sea of flowers, like an overturned dye vat, colorful. The number of open flowers reaches the thousands. Flower lovers who like them can also grow bougainvillea and kalanchoe at home.
