I've always missed the little stream I played in as a child, a place that once brought me endless joy.

Now the stream is long gone, and so this aquascape came to be - "Stubborn Stones," hoping to recreate in the tank the scene of "in the calm of the turbulent flow the sand can be counted, among the stubborn stones the grass does not wither." Since this was my first time scaping a large tank and I lacked experience, and there isn't much information online about two-sided aquascapes, the process didn't go smoothly, and many details in the tank don't satisfy me either. I've been adjusting it for half a year. It's also for this reason that there's no so-called finished-scape photo; the scenes in the tank are all stage by stage.

Tank: 120×50×50 ultra-clear, 75-high wooden stand

Filtration: DF1300 + CF1200 in parallel

Lighting: 4 tubes of 54W T5HO, 216W total

Substrate: iron gall sand + cosmetic sand

Fertilizer: Boyu base fertilizer + Boyu liquid fertilizer

CO2: Huadi bottle + RO diffusion reactor, 2 bubbles per second, running 24 hours

Livestock: cardinal tetra, cherry barb, black phantom tetra, medaka, Siamese algae eater, otocinclus, bristlenose pleco, dwarf corydoras, Amano shrimp, black-shell shrimp, etc.

Aquatic plants: dwarf pearl grass, mini dwarf pearl grass, needle-leaf crown, mini pepper grass, pearl grass, small bamboo knot, giant hairgrass, narrow-leaf java fern, blackwood fern, triangle moss, red rotala, large red myriophyllum, oval-leaf clove, etc.

Water changes: 1/5 tap water every week

Temperature: 26-27 degrees

Started playing with building blocks, first arranging a rough skeleton on the windowsill

Following the shape of the blocks into the tank, this is the front.

The back

Add a little water, start planting

After planting, fill the tank with water

Too few plants at setup, this is a lesson

After more than 1 month

Start trimming the plants.
