I picked out some beautiful and easy-to-care-for varieties to share with flower lovers for reference.
Location: a large flower market in Chengdu

1. Kalanchoe
Recommended reason: Kalanchoe, which basically blooms all year round, is my strong personal recommendation. It is also drought-tolerant. You only need to prune off the spent flowers after blooming and give it a little fertilizer, and it will soon produce new flower buds. A pot of Kalanchoe basically costs between 10-20 yuan, so even if you kill it, you will not feel too bad.
2. Lily
Recommended reason: Flower lovers who like fresh cut lilies might as well buy a potted lily. The flowering period is longer, and it will bloom again the next year. The price is about 35-40 per pot.
3. Multi-headed Tillandsia
Recommended reason: I personally think it is quite unique. Small purple flowers also bloom from the side of the flower buds. It does not have a strong demand for light, and it can bloom well even indoors. The price is about 35-40.
4. Fuchsia
Recommended reason: Fuchsia has a fairly long flowering period. Its only drawback is that it fears heat, but it can tolerate shade and can bloom in partial shade. The price is about 25 yuan.
5. Mint
Recommended reason: Practical. There is now also a lemon-scented one. Whether for infusing in water or as a garnish in cooking, it works. In summer it also has the effect of repelling mosquitoes. One pot is only 10 yuan.
6. Cyclamen
Recommended reason: One of the main flowers of the autumn and winter seasons. From now it can basically bloom until around the Spring Festival. The flower colors are gorgeous. When caring for it, note that the potting soil should not be too moist, otherwise the leaves easily turn yellow. The price is about 20-35 per pot.
7. Colored calla lily
Recommended reason: Commonly known as the calla lily that cannot be watered to death, it is suitable for flower lovers who are diligent about plant care. You do not need to worry about overwatering. The colors are also bright, the flowering period is long, and it is a perennial bulb. The price is about 40-50 per pot.
