Bougainvillea only blooms a few scattered flowers in October, add 2 tablets to 1 jug of water, and it will burst into a full pot in 30 days

It's October, and your bougainvillea is putting out only a "scattered" few flowers. With 1 cup of water and 2 tablets, it will burst into full bloom in 30 days
We are now gradually entering late autumn, the weather is cool and the temperature is suitable, and many flowers are growing rapidly. Of course, autumn is also the flowering season for bougainvillea. Recently, many gardening friends have left messages saying that the bougainvillea they grow still has not bloomed after entering autumn, with only a few scattered flowers. In fact, when bougainvillea shows this situation, it is mainly because the care methods are inappropriate, which causes poor development of the plant's flower buds. This then shows up as the plant producing few or even no flowers.
Bougainvillea is a common woody potted flowering plant. Many people grow it in flower pots as a household potted plant, because it not only has upright branches and stems, but can also produce bright, vivid flowers. If grown properly and appropriately, bougainvillea can bloom all over the tree in autumn, very bright and spectacular, with extremely high ornamental value. For situations in autumn where potted bougainvillea does not bloom or only opens a few scattered flowers, fertilizer should be given to the plant in time.
Spray with one jug of water
After entering autumn, if bougainvillea does not bloom, it is mainly because of insufficient fertilization before the flowering period. Before the bougainvillea flowering period, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be given to the plant, as this can promote the development of flower buds. So immediately spray the bougainvillea leaves with a 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate aqueous solution. In this way, after the plant leaves absorb the phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, they can transport the nutrients to the flower buds, allowing the flower buds to develop quickly. The development of the flower buds also signals the opening of the bougainvillea flowers.
Add two tablets
Besides supplementing bougainvillea with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, you should also add tablets to the plant to promote the growth of the root system and leaves. You can use 1 aspirin tablet to 1 kilogram of water. After it is fully dissolved, pour it into the bougainvillea's flower pot, because the main component in aspirin, salicylic acid, has the effect of promoting the growth of the plant's root system and leaves. So it is also a kind of plant growth hormone. Watering bougainvillea once every two weeks with aspirin aqueous solution can effectively promote its growth.
Of course, besides fertilizing bougainvillea, you should also pay attention to lighting and ventilation. After entering autumn, you can place bougainvillea directly outdoors to grow in the open, so that with sufficient lighting and good ventilation, the plant can quickly carry out photosynthesis, absorb nutrients, and let the bougainvillea grow quickly. Of course, during the care process, if you encounter a situation where bougainvillea does not bloom, you should also pay attention to controlling watering, because after watering too much, it will cause the bougainvillea to grow excessively, inhibiting the development of flower buds. So when growing bougainvillea during the autumn flowering period, control watering and just keep the soil slightly moist. Do not let water accumulate in the flower pot, otherwise it is very easy for bougainvillea not to bloom.
After entering winter in the north, the bougainvillea needs to be moved to a warm balcony with good lighting, so that the plant can safely pass through the winter, otherwise it is prone to frost damage.
