Plant this flower in autumn: easy to grow, beautiful, and it blooms into a ball

Autumn is here, and it is time to grow some cold-hardy flowers so you can still enjoy beautiful blooms in winter. Today we bring you a cold-hardy, easy-to-grow flower that is much loved for hanging baskets and garden landscaping, and is perfect for planting in autumn, blooming into a ball.
Lobelia
Lobelia belongs to the Campanulaceae family. It has very strong branching ability, and when it blooms it easily grows into a full, overflowing pot. It can be sown in all four seasons, but autumn is the best time to sow it, so flower lovers who like it can get started right now.
Sowing lobelia:
(1). Pay attention to the seeds you prepare: lobelia seeds are very tiny, so when sowing you can mix in an appropriate amount of fine sand to make planting easier. Choose a hanging basket or a tall gallon pot. For the soil, choose general-purpose garden soil, or mix your own using 3 parts leaf mold + 1 part perlite + 1 part peat moss. Moisten the soil with a spray bottle and keep the potting soil slightly moist.
(2). Sow the seeds shallowly in the soil. During germination, keep them in light and keep the soil slightly moist. They will sprout in about 1 week. Once 4~6 leaves have grown, they can be transplanted.
(3). They grow best at 12~15°C and can bloom in 14~15 weeks. Keep them in plenty of light, and it is recommended to place them on a sunny balcony for care. Apply liquid fertilizer once a month, and at around 2~3 months, apply potassium dihydrogen phosphate to promote flowering.
(4). Once the plant grows to about 4~5 cm, pinch off the tops and prune appropriately to keep the plant in a ball shape, which increases its ornamental value and makes it look even better when it blooms.
