Pick up ginkgo fruits dropped by the roadside, take them home, and grow them into a valuable potted plant

Autumn fallen leaves are one of the most beautiful sights, and if you ask which leaf is the prettiest, of course it is the ginkgo leaf! A gardening friend not only enjoyed the ginkgo leaves but also brought home ginkgo fruits, grew a small potted plant from them, and after careful cultivation it grew into a bonsai, worth a lot of money!
Step one:
After picking up the ginkgo fruits, some may be rotten, so in any case remove the outer flesh! Then soak them in clean water to soften the skin a little! Then take them out and dry them in a cool, shaded place.
Step two
The shell of a ginkgo seed is fairly hard, so before planting you can cut a small opening in it, the same way you handle lotus seeds. But for ginkgo fruits, you can be a bit rougher, as long as the flesh inside stays intact!
Step three
Wrap the seeds in a wet paper towel, place it on a ventilated balcony, sprinkle water regularly to keep the paper towel moist, and in about 3-5 days they will sprout!
Step four
Plant the sprouted seeds in a flower pot with the small sprout facing up. Make sure they get a little scattered light every day and sprinkle water once every 1-2 days, and small leaves will soon grow!
Step five
After all, ginkgo is a big tree that grows by the roadside, and its vitality is very tenacious, even when planted in a flower pot! As long as it grows leaves, it basically will not die! Unless your skills are really too poor! What is left is to shape it, and you can have fun making shapes by binding it with wire!
