Succulent Haworthia care absolutely cannot be rushed, patient slow growing is the key

The worst thing when growing succulents is impatience!
Beginners all have a burning heart, dreaming that their succulents will thrive and grow into old clumps.
Just like growing Haworthia, I once used a desk lamp and heated a pot of Haworthia cooperi to death!
Because I did not feel what it felt.
Using a middle school essay prompt, if I were a Haworthia...
If I were a Haworthia, I would want to stay quietly right there, with a breeze, with sunlight, occasionally baptized by a little rain...
If I were a Haworthia...
……
If you want to grow Haworthia well, you must remember the following about their preferences.
Haworthia is more heat-tolerant than we imagine, as long as the temperature is not higher than 40°C it is fine;
Temperature difference, a temperature difference of 10 degrees or more is very necessary for them;
Light, with 40% shading, plants in the north take on a brownish-red color, growing slowly or stalling, with 65% shading growth is normal and leaf color is glossy green, with 80% or more shading leaf color is emerald green with a tendency to stretch taller;
Ventilation, in summer even under normal shaded conditions the flower pots get hot from the sun, sufficient ventilation and appropriate sprinkling of water can carry away the summer heat and lower the ambient temperature, and during rainy weather it can also carry away excess moisture, and can also prevent the occurrence of summer pests and diseases;
Watering, my method is to use an empty pot filled with a pot of substrate, water it thoroughly and place it in the same environment to observe, see how many days it takes to dry out, this way you can basically estimate the watering interval;
In summer do not repot or behead for propagation, at this time the temperature is high and it is not easy to root.
Haworthia growing environment, it likes a warm and dry environment, is drought-tolerant, fears waterlogging, and is suitable for growing in semi-shade or sufficient but soft sunlight.
Avoid fierce sun exposure, otherwise it will form ugly sunburn spots on the leaf surface, the leaf color will be dull and lusterless, the leaf tips will dry up, while too much shade will make the plant leggy, causing a loose plant shape, leaves not arranged tightly, the transparency of the window at the top of the leaf surface of soft-leaf varieties will decrease, and the tubercles on the leaf surface of hard-leaf varieties will not be prominent, none of which are good for ornamental viewing.
In winter it is best to give more light, otherwise the leaves easily turn red.
