The National Day Golden Week has just ended. Did everyone go out to enjoy the mountains and rivers? Huahua stays at home every day watching the news about highway traffic jams and tourist attractions packed with people, and sometimes feels that not going out is pretty good too. However, office workers rarely have time to go out, so taking advantage of the National Day holiday to travel is also a good choice.

When traveling, unless you have acquaintances and friends locally, you can't avoid staying in a hotel. Today Huahua wants to tell everyone some little secrets about hotels. You should know that many places in the room are not as clean as they look, and some places may have more bacteria than a toilet!

1. Electric kettle

Unless it's a very high-end hotel where you don't need to boil water yourself, other ordinary hotels will put an electric kettle on the desk in the room, letting guests use the electric kettle to boil water. I believe many flower lovers have also noticed past news about hotel electric kettles. Many guests use them to boil underwear to disinfect it. If it isn't cleaned thoroughly, are we supposed to use a kettle that has boiled underwear to boil water again? Just thinking about it feels disgusting. So when staying in a hotel, if you can avoid using the electric kettle, try your best not to use it!

2. Non-disposable slippers

Many hotels now prepare disposable slippers in the room for guests to use, but some hotels still provide non-disposable slippers. These non-disposable slippers are mostly worn by others, then cleaned and used a second time. If it's proper disinfection and cleaning, that's fine, but if they're just casually scrubbed, then the bacteria on the slippers won't be cleaned off at all, and it's very likely to spread athlete's foot. Therefore, when choosing a hotel, you can include this point in your considerations.

3. Hair dryer

Before, Huahua didn't think something like a hair dryer could be that dirty, until a cleaning lady revealed that the electrical appliances in many hotels are not cleaned often. Only then did I know. The focus of cleaning hotel rooms is placed on the bed sheets and bedding, while something like a hair dryer is troublesome to clean, so it is only cleaned once after a long time. At this point, if we use it again, it may be the same as washing our hair for nothing after blow-drying hair we just washed. Moreover, if a hotel hair dryer is not used for a long time, it can also breed mold. This point should be noted.

4. Throw pillows

Sometimes when we travel and book a hotel, if we book a king room or a family suite, there may be a small sofa, and naturally there will be throw pillows on the sofa. But these throw pillows are not cleaned as frequently as those in our own homes, and it's even more impossible to disinfect them every time a guest changes. So the bacteria left on them can be imagined. If you stay in a hotel while traveling, it's better not to hug the throw pillows while sleeping or watching TV!

When traveling and booking a hotel, you must consider everything thoroughly, after all, safety and hygiene are the most important. If you have had an experience of touching "dirty" things while staying in a hotel, come to the comment section and complain about it together!
