An old florist uses these 2 tricks to grow jasmine - the flowers cover the branches like a sky full of stars, fragrant and beautiful

Jasmine (Jasminum sambac) is a flower loved by ordinary flower growers. It stays green all year round, and when it blooms, the flowers are pure white with a rich fragrance. It has long been praised with the saying "a single plant can perfume a whole room."
Jasmine has a long flowering period; with good care it can bloom from May to around November, producing several uninterrupted waves of flowers. I know an old florist who has many tricks for growing jasmine. With just these 2 tricks, the jasmine blooms into a "sky full of stars," one wave after another, fragrant and beautiful!
Trick 1: Fertilizing
If you want jasmine to bloom abundantly, adequate fertilizer is key, especially phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, while nitrogen fertilizer should be applied sparingly or not at all. You can use fermented soybean cake water or fish waste water, applying it every 2-3 days, and each month you can bury some bone meal in the potting soil, which can make the flowers bloom more and smell sweeter.
Besides normal fertilizing, before flowering you can use a 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution for foliar feeding, spraying once every 5-7 days, to make the jasmine bloom more fully and extend the flowering period.
Trick 2: Pruning
Fertilizing supplies jasmine with nutrients, while pruning reduces unnecessary consumption of nutrients, thereby concentrating the nutrient supply. In particular, jasmine often produces early flowers; if these are not pruned off in time, they will affect the plant's continued differentiation of flower buds and the formation of buds and blooms.
When you see jasmine producing early flowers, pick off the flowers together with the leafy young shoots, to encourage new shoots to grow, making the branches and leaves lush, producing more buds and more flowers.
For jasmine to bloom abundantly and become a "sky full of stars," these 2 tricks cannot be overlooked. Also, jasmine likes a humid environment; when it is differentiating flower buds, you can often spray water on the branches and leaves to increase humidity, which helps jasmine differentiate more flower buds.
That is all for jasmine care. If you have other tips to add, feel free to share them with everyone in the comments section below. To learn more about growing flowers, you can follow Huajianke!
