Lucky bamboo is a green plant loved by many flower enthusiasts. The plant is slender, with branches on the upright upper part. It has high ornamental value and carries the meaning of "flowers bloom bringing wealth, bamboo reports peace." It is a very auspicious plant, and it is very suitable to grow some at home.

Lucky bamboo is mostly grown in water. I know an old flower farmer, and he said that growing lucky bamboo requires technique. Use these 3 kinds of "water," and it will grow madly, with thick stems and green leaves!

1. Willow branch water

Willow branches contain a large amount of salicylic acid, willow acid, and so on. It is a natural growth hormone that can increase the plant's vitality, promote rooting and sprouting, and make lucky bamboo have thick stems and lush leaves.

Making willow branch water is also very simple. Collect several robust current-year willow branches, remove the leaves, cut them into small pieces, crush them, put them into a large container, then add clean water and soak for 2-3 days before using it to grow lucky bamboo.

2. Ferrous sulfate

Lucky bamboo needs sufficient iron. Some flower enthusiasts directly put rusty iron nails into the hydroponic bottle to provide iron for lucky bamboo. In fact, the effect is not obvious. The main reason is that the iron in the nails is very stable, and it is relatively difficult for it to become iron ions that lucky bamboo can absorb. Moreover, rusty iron filings will also cover the roots of lucky bamboo, affecting respiration and growth. Ferrous sulfate itself has unstable iron ions, can be directly absorbed by lucky bamboo, and can also improve water quality, achieving multiple benefits at once.

Each time you change or add water for lucky bamboo, you can drip in a few drops of ferrous sulfate, then gently shake it evenly to make a ferrous sulfate aqueous solution.

3. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate

Phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can make lucky bamboo stronger, with broad and emerald green leaves, help improve it, and also increase the plant's resistance. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be directly absorbed by lucky bamboo. You can prepare 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate, pour it into a fine-nozzle spray bottle, spray it onto the branches and leaves of lucky bamboo, or directly drip a few drops into the hydroponic bottle.

The care of lucky bamboo is introduced here. If flower enthusiasts have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comment section below. If you want to learn more about flower-growing knowledge, you can follow Huajianke!
