What to do when the leaves of a peace lily turn yellow and it blooms less? There are tricks for caring for it at home

Peace lily - the moment I heard this name, I found it very strange. The peace lily is also called "smooth sailing" (yi fan feng shun). Because the name is quite auspicious and it is relatively easy to care for, there are a great many flower lovers who grow it. On the market, we can generally buy three varieties of peace lily. The one with smaller leaves and smaller flowers is called Tianjiao - this Tianjiao is the same "Tianjiao" as in "the proud son of heaven." The one a size bigger is called Meijiu, and there is an even bigger one called Lu Bawang (Green Overlord), which can grow to over one meter tall.
Although this peace lily is easy to care for, friends who have grown it still have some doubts - why does the peace lily I grow get greener and greener? Actually, this is quite a normal thing, because in the end, before the peace lily is about to wither, it will turn green. Some people, as they care for it, will find that the leaves turn yellow, or that it blooms less and less. So how do we solve this?
Light
This is a very important factor. Most people like to put plants in places like a desk or a writing table. Once too much time passes, it cannot get enough light for its growth or enough for its photosynthesis, so the leaves will turn yellow and it will also bloom less. Therefore, we can place the plant on a balcony or somewhere beside a window with bright, indirect light. Of course, we must not let it be exposed to harsh sun, as harsh sun can easily scorch the leaves.
Soil
Generally, when we go to a flower shop to buy a plant, we should pay attention to choosing the kind of plant in a plastic pot that came from a nursery, because the soil in this kind of plastic pot is a bit better - that is, peat soil. Of course, if we need to prepare the soil ourselves, we can buy some black soil and perlite and mix them together to make fertile soil. So it is very difficult to grow peace lilies in ordinary soil. Once ordinary soil is used, the roots will very easily rot. Therefore, we should use mixed peat soil for growing, as this makes it convenient for water absorption and sunlight absorption.
Flower pot
Those who especially like to use large pots should take note: when we grow peace lilies, the pot only needs to be an appropriate size. If we choose those especially large pots, then watering becomes very troublesome, because once we water, the roots will be soaked in water and it will not be easy for them to absorb it, causing a sudden increase in humidity in the pot, which easily leads to root rot.
Watering
For peace lilies, most of us grow them indoors, and the conditions of light and ventilation are relatively poor, so we cannot water every day or once every two or three days. Before we water, we should touch the potting soil with our hands, and only water it after we feel the surface is a bit dry. We should also combine this with observing its leaves: when we see the leaves are a bit soft and slightly drooping, that is the time to water it.
Friends who grow peace lilies must pay careful attention to this.
