First domestic retail chain to introduce the Clean Label certification! FamilyMart promotes real food with fewer additives
First domestic retail chain to introduce Clean Label certification! In order to promote food with fewer additives, FamilyMart convenience stores brought together a hundred manufacturers to form an industry alliance, focusing on real ingredients and natural raw materials, emphasizing simple processing while maintaining palatability, and developing healthy foods that are delicious while avoiding unnecessary additives.
Currently, FamilyMart is starting with its own private label, with the Tzu-Yue International organization responsible for conducting Clean Label certification assessments. The first wave launched 70 Clean Label certified foods, including frozen prepared foods, bread, beverages, light meals, dried fruit and frozen treats. Next year, the plan is to expand to fresh food products, and by 2020, maximize the number of products that pass certification. FamilyMart is inviting more manufacturers to join the ranks of foods with fewer additives, hoping to foster a new wave of food transformation and provide consumers with delicious and healthy product choices when eating out.
