This fruit-bearing potted plant roots as soon as it touches soil, easier to grow and prettier than pothos and spider plants

The plants I grow the most at home are pothos and spider plants, plus of course some other flowers. Sometimes all that greenery feels like it is missing a bit of color. If you also only grow some "plain" potted plants, try growing this kind of brightly colored ornamental fruit potted plant - easy to grow and pretty.
This plant is called coral cherry, also known as winter coral or red coral. It was originally a very common wild fruit in rural areas, with strong vitality and strong soil adaptability. It is cold-resistant and drought-resistant, and very easy to grow.
The coral cherry's fruiting period is very long, basically offering something to admire all year round. Generally by autumn its fruits slowly ripen, lasting all the way into winter, and the color turns bright red, very beautiful and eye-catching. That is why many flower markets now grow it as a potted plant to sell - it is highly ornamental.
Coral cherry likes a warm environment, with an optimum growing temperature of 15-25°C. In winter it can overwinter normally as long as the temperature stays above 3°C. If it is too cold, it needs to be moved indoors to a warm spot for care.
For potting, loose and fertile sandy loam is suitable. The reason coral cherry is said to be easy to grow is mainly that it is a very drought-tolerant plant. Normally just water it by the "dry-wet" principle - water when the soil is dry. It will not die even if it goes unwatered for a month occasionally. Coral cherry also loves light very much. When potted at home, give it as much sunlight as possible, as this makes its fruit color redder, brighter and prettier.
For potted coral cherry, you can apply some phosphorus and potassium fertilizer during its growing period, once a month is enough, which can make it bear more fruit. Finally, one thing you must pay attention to: the fruit of this coral cherry must never be eaten - it is for ornamental use only!
