Bury a walnut in the soil, and it can grow into a small potted plant

It is walnut harvest season recently, and some friends bought fresh walnuts online. After bringing them home, they were completely confused. What are these? They bought a box of green fruits (no picture). So Yatou found the true appearance of walnuts online, and it is this green fruit below!
So how do you eat them? Actually, it is not like what most people imagine, that you have to leave this fruit for a while and it will naturally harden! The walnut is hidden inside! Surprised? Unexpected?
Since you have already bought the walnuts, Yatou will tell you another piece of good news: walnuts can be used to make potted plants. Just pick one or two that are a bit more mature!
Step 1: Pick walnuts that are a bit more mature. From the outside, they should not be rotten and should be relatively plump! Freshly bought ones (green husk) are best, and it is best to dry them in the sun.
Step 2: Soak in water. This is the most important step. Before soaking in water, you can use a knife or a small hammer, no matter what it is, to make a small opening at the top of the walnut, but be careful not to crush the "meat" inside the walnut, otherwise it will not sprout! Soak in water for 3-5 days, until the walnut sprouts a small shoot!
Step 3: Choose looser soil and plant the walnut in it. Note that the sprouting end should face up, and the small sprout should also be exposed on the soil surface!
It will soon grow into a small seedling. When planting, you can choose a flower pot with a bit of antique charm, and the result will have a special artistic mood!
Of course, you can transplant a small one and plant it in the walnut shell. A potted plant on your fingertips, isn't it even more elegant!
