The money tree, also known as the jade tree, symbolizes good fortune and is a very famous feng shui plant. Although the money tree is attractive, it is especially prone to root rot. In fact, root rot in money trees has warning signs. Today we will take you through them.

First, drought onset: the roots of the money tree rot easily and it dislikes moisture, so during care we should water it less. However, if the potting soil dries out and it is still not watered, the stem base will suffer, and growth will also be slow.

Leaves curling: when this happens, be sure to water promptly, and they should gradually become plump again and resume growth. Second, natural aging: when the money tree has been growing for a long time, natural aging will occur.

Old stems do not sprout, and leaves gradually turn yellow. Orchid symptoms generally appear on the outer large stems. When new shoots grow, aging branches are likely to appear. Simply cut them off about 3 to 4 cm from the point shown in the picture.
