How to grow Heuchera?
1. Loves sun and tolerates shade
Although Heuchera loves sunlight and can bask in the sun more in autumn, it is also fairly shade-tolerant. It can be grown at the base of walls, on east- or west-facing balconies, and on windowsills.
2. Don't water too frequently
Heuchera has a relatively shallow root system and is drought-tolerant. It fears waterlogged roots rotting above all, so in autumn watering once a week is enough. When watering, don't pour water into the center of the leaves; you can also water directly using the soak-pot method.
3. Ventilation is very important
With more ventilation, Heuchera grows faster. In summer and autumn, be sure to open the windows more. If you have the conditions to move them outdoors, grow them outdoors; if not, open the windows more and grow them by the window!
