What humus soil, soybean water - this stuff is dirty and stinks, but put it in the bottom of a flower pot and the fertilizer effect lasts 3 years

More and more people like growing flowers, and many people keep some flowers and plants in their living room, balcony and bedroom. Not only can it beautify the home and make the room full of life, but keeping some green potted plants can also purify the room's air and benefit the family's health. At the same time, growing flowers is also a matter of cultivating one's character; when there is nothing to do, tending the flowers and plants can also make one feel calm.

For people who grow flowers, as they grow more and more flowers, they naturally need more energy to take care of them, such as fertilizing, repotting and changing the soil. It is now autumn, which is also the best time to top-dress flowers. For flowers like clivia (Clivia miniata), Christmas cactus (Schlumbergera) and kalanchoe (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana), autumn is their vigorous growth period, and only with sufficient nutrients can the potted plants at home grow dense and sturdy and produce flowers.

The fertilizer I am sharing with you today is dirty and smelly - it is cow dung, which is very common in rural areas. In rural areas, cow dung is generally used as organic fertilizer and spread on fields as fertilizer for crops. Cow dung can also be used as fertilizer for flower growth. Not only is it rich in nutrients, but it is also an organic fertilizer. Placed in the bottom of a flower pot, its fertilizer effect is long-lasting, and for three years you do not need to add fertilizer again.

How to use cow dung to grow flowers

In rural areas, when you come across cow dung you can pick it up, dry it in the sun and then crush and grind it into powder. Because cow dung's fertilizer effect is very strong, when using it, it is best to use it as a base fertilizer placed in the bottom of the flower pot. Especially now that it is autumn, when repotting and changing the soil for Christmas cactus and clivia, for a flower pot with a diameter of 20 cm, put 200 grams of cow dung in its bottom, then plant the plant with mixed soil. During growth it can absorb the nutrients at the bottom, and after one fertilizing you do not need to add fertilizer for three years.

Of course, you can also add cow dung when mixing the soil for growing flowers, but you must control the amount to prevent the soil's fertilizer effect from being too strong and burning the plant roots when growing flowers; use this mixed soil to grow flowers - it is loose and breathable, and the fertilizer effect is very good.

It is now autumn, which is the suitable period for repotting and changing the soil for flowers like Christmas cactus, kalanchoe and clivia. When potting them, you can put some cow dung in the bottom of the flower pot; its fertilizer effect is much stronger than that of soybean dung and humus soil.

So for people who grow flowers, anything can be a treasure for growing flowers. Usually, eggshells at home can be dried in the sun and used as fertilizer for growing flowers. Expired milk diluted with water and fermented can be used as fertilizer for growing flowers - these are all very good little tips for growing flowers.
