Globe amaranth is an ornamental flower that symbolizes a thriving life.

As you can see from the picture above, the flowers of globe amaranth stand upright and tall, with regular petals and a glossy, vivid color. Even after the petals are picked and dried, the color remains just as lasting and brilliant. Because of this trait, globe amaranth is often used to symbolize a couple enjoying a thriving life together and staying as loving as they were on their wedding day for a lifetime.
Globe amaranth is a flower from India that was introduced to China. As we can see, it likes heat and dislikes humidity. It likes sunlight and dislikes shade. The earliest globe amaranth was purplish red, which is the original color. Later, through several generations of crossbreeding and cultivation, the colors now include red, yellow and white, and it is highly ornamental. It generally takes about 6 months from the start of cultivation to the point where it can be enjoyed, so it still counts as a plant with a relatively short flowering period.
Usually in spring, we first soak the seeds in cold water for 2 days, then sow them. As mentioned earlier, this plant is not cold-tolerant, so it is best to keep it above 18°C. Special care must be taken to ensure it is not damaged by frost. There are no special requirements for the soil. We can generally see it bloom around the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Such a beautiful flower - don't you feel the urge to plant it yourself!
