A new trend in green energy and environmental protection: "Low-Carbon Safety GO" electric scooters kick off enthusiastically
The Yunlin County Traffic Safety Promotion Week series of activities kicked off enthusiastically yesterday (the 1st). In recent years, environmental green energy has become an emerging and important issue, so building the "green energy and agriculture" dual capitals has always been the main goal of the Yunlin County Government's administration. To encourage the public to use environmentally friendly, low-pollution vehicles, the county government cooperated with electric scooter vendors for the first time during Traffic Safety Promotion Week to launch the "Low-Carbon Safety GO" event. County Magistrate Lee Chin-yung and Huang Chun-yen, deputy director of the Department of Information, attended. County Magistrate Lee Chin-yung said he hoped that in addition to obeying traffic rules, the public could also love the Earth through low-carbon actions, reduce the use of highly polluting two-stroke scooters, and join together in doing their part to improve environmental quality.
Maintaining traffic safety and correctly understanding relevant regulations is everyone's responsibility, and recently the number of people riding electric scooters has been increasing day by day. The Yunlin County Government specially held the "Low-Carbon Safety GO" event, launching an electric scooter test-ride activity. In line with the most popular electric vehicle trend of the moment, electric scooter enthusiasts were invited to Douliu Renwen Park to share their electric scooter experiences, attracting many people to enthusiastically take part in the electric scooter test-ride experience. At the event site, to support Yunlin County's traffic safety and environmental protection activities, County Magistrate Lee Chin-yung personally test-rode an electric scooter and reminded the public that they must wear a helmet when riding a scooter, showcasing a new trend of street-level green energy and environmental protection.
In addition to the test-ride activity, the site also included a wealth of traffic safety promotion and a quiz with prizes. It is hoped that through a series of activities, the public's correct understanding of traffic safety will be enhanced, the concept of "wear a helmet, live safely to old age" will be promoted, and the public will be advised that no matter what type of vehicle they ride, they should wear a helmet, so as to effectively reduce the probability of traffic accidents.
