Lithops is a flower that many people love to grow; it really does look adorable. But whether your Lithops grows well depends entirely on whether there is any problem with your soil mix. With soil mixing, you have to trust in just going with the flow; sometimes when you deliberately try to craft the perfect mix, the Lithops actually refuses to grow properly. So this laid-back approach to soil mixing is the key thing for everyone to understand.

The soil for growing Lithops must guarantee these few words: airy and free-draining. Today I will recommend a few recipes for everyone; these are ones I have tried myself and found quite useful. Use 1-3mm granular soil; the main components are volcanic rock, kanuma, a small amount of rice husk charcoal, plus some vermiculite. Mix the proportions in that order, going with the flow. It is not that I will not say the ratios, it is just that when I mix, I am very laid-back about it.

If you are growing them in a greenhouse, mix peat and granules half and half. This is a bit less hassle, and you do not need to water often, but it easily attracts pests and disease. Still, strengthening ventilation can prevent some of that. Generally, after planting, try not to disturb them, otherwise they very easily die.

Highlight: no matter how you configure your own exclusive secret recipe, there must always be one goal, which is making the growing medium airy.

Do you have your own Lithops growing medium mix? Feel free to leave a comment and discuss it with everyone.
