Autumn is here, and it is once again the season when kalanchoe starts growing flower buds. Recently, many flower lovers have left messages asking me to talk about how to care for kalanchoe in autumn so it blooms more?

Chengcheng tells everyone: kalanchoe's flowering season is from October each year to April of the following year. If you want it to bloom more, autumn care can be said to be very crucial, and there are two specific points to note!

I have told everyone before that as long as a plant blooms, if you want it to flower, it cannot do without direct sunlight, that is, sunlight must shine on it! Many people say kalanchoe is a short-day plant and can only receive 6-8 hours of light a day; more than 8 hours of light will be unfavorable for its flowering!

This statement only applies to greenhouses. When we grow it indoors at home, this problem simply does not exist, because even in a house with the best lighting, the daily light duration will not exceed 6 hours. So if you want our kalanchoe to bloom, from now on you need to put it in the sunniest spot at home!

Then shallowly bury some three-element compound fertilizer around the edge of the pot, and every 10 days spray some monopotassium phosphate on the leaves at a ratio of 1:1000!

As long as you do these two things, whether it is a new kalanchoe seedling propagated by cuttings that same year or an old plant, it will bloom when the flowering season arrives!
