In our daily lives, there are actually many things that can be used to grow flowers. But if we don't know about them, we will definitely treat them as trash and throw them away, which would really be a shame. On the other hand, many of us complain that flowers are hard to grow, and we don't know how to care for them so they can grow well.

Before you know it, you'll find yellow and withered leaves, and then they drop off; before you know it, root rot appears too. When this happens it's really annoying, but we can't bear to throw them away, and we don't know the specific solution. In fact, with the following three substances, you don't have to fear anything that happens.

Plant ash

Plant ash is very common in rural areas. That's because plant ash is formed from the ashes left after burning firewood in rural areas. Using this stuff at the bottom of our flower beds can promote plant growth. Plant ash contains various minerals, and if the minerals in it are absorbed by the plants, they will definitely be able to grow very well.

The specific way to use plant ash is like this. After we get the plant ash, we spread it directly at the bottom of the flower pot, then spread a layer of soil on top, and plant our plants as normal. Because the plant's roots are inside the soil, they can take in the minerals from the plant ash.

Of course, this way its absorption will definitely not be complete. We have another method, which is that we can mix the plant ash with clean water to form a thick solution. Then pour it onto our plants, of course pouring it in slowly from the edge of the flower pot. Because the liquid plant ash is easily absorbed by the plants, and it can also slowly seep into the soil, which is very good for the plants' absorption.

Black charcoal

For many people, it is a very common substance, and it also contains various nutrient elements. But when we use black charcoal to grow flowers at home, what we value is not its nutrient elements. Although we also need its nutrient elements, for us, we value its effects even more.

If we use black charcoal to grow plants at home, it can increase the permeability of the soil in which we grow the plants, reduce waterlogging, and also reduce the incidence of disease in the plants, because black charcoal can inhibit the production of bacteria. Our usual method is to spread the black charcoal directly at the bottom of the flower pot, then spread soil on top, and then plant the plants as normal.

Although it is just a simple operation, it has great effects. Don't think that black charcoal only has this one method of use. In fact, we can also mix black charcoal with tap water, wait about a day, then fish the black charcoal out, and the remaining tap water can be used directly to water flowers, which can also promote plant growth.

Rusty nails

Rusty nails cannot be used for just any plant; it must be a plant that can be grown in water. That's because we need to put the rusty nails in water and let them rust naturally, decomposing iron elements for the plants to absorb, so it must be a water-grown plant.

We usually put rusty nails in the flower pot. Putting about three rusty nails in one flower pot is enough. After about a month, the rusty nails need to be fished out, otherwise after a long time they will no longer promote plant growth, and will instead harm it.
