In the blink of an eye, it has been a year and a half since I fell into the pit, from growing a few small succulent seedlings in a plastic washbasin (I couldn't even name them, so much so that I stuck little flags in them with names written on them)
to later having seven large flower racks filled with countless single-heads, multi-heads, leaf propagations, seedlings, overflowing pots, and old stems. All the way through this triumphant journey, tasting every kind of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, what remains unchanged in my heart is the overflowing love for my succulents.
Echeveria 'Frosty Morn'
Because of my obsession with succulents, WeChat, apps, and my space are all filled with pictures of succulents. When I see people, I want to talk about succulents; when I go shopping, I want to visit flower markets. Then I started not shopping in malls for clothes, not chasing soap operas and wasting time...
Blue Apple
Sedum dasyphyllum 'Major',
I flipped through my cloud album and found the first time I planted succulents last March, and also my first pot of succulents.
Whenever I had time, I buried myself in tending them; when I had no time, I would stay up all night tinkering. Even my husband was moved by my love for succulents and took the initiative to help with all kinds of tinkering.
He brought over a large tree root, hoisted it up to the rooftop terrace, then chiseled and chiseled and chiseled it into a tree-root planter that could hold many succulents.
The tree trunk also had to be sawed into sections, then chiseled into flower pots. Yo yo yo, what a serious look, thank you.
Bought storage racks specifically for holding flower pots
The little dog Ale also came to help sniff whether there were any bugs or such in this wooden flower pot?
My husband scrimped and saved on himself, but was willing to build me a sunroom (probably afraid that I would again wear a worried face and sigh in front of him, affecting his happy play).
Then I planted and planted and planted.
Planted and planted
Planted into the succulent army it is now (there are still many more on another terrace)

Thanks to the succulent friends, masters, and succulent platforms who guided me along the way, taught me planting techniques, and accompanied me as I grew...
Constantly becoming more beautifulLotus
Thanks to everyone around me, letting me experience the comfort, tranquility, and overflowing happiness of being a succulent grower.
Just pooped on by a hornetSilver Moon(I'll quietly tell you, my garden has long been chosen by a swarm of hornets as a super toilet)
Hedgehog (actually Echeveria 'Fleur Blanc'), for all the beauty on this rooftop, the person I should thank most is the one who has always silently supported me from behind as I kept buying succulents, buying pots, buying soil, buying medicine, and helped me as a porter, poop digger, soil mixer, and who whenever the weather changed asked me whether to push the flower racks into the pavilion, my universe-invincible good husband (slightly exaggerated; like a child, the more he is praised, the more capable he becomes, haha).
