2 kinds of flowers are very popular, blooming 200 days a year, with many buds, a long flowering period and easy care

The first flower is geranium, also known as hydrangea and foreign hydrangea, a perennial evergreen herbaceous or subshrub flower of the Geraniaceae family, Geranium genus. Native to southern Africa, it is widely cultivated around the world. Geranium has a long flowering period and strong adaptability to the environment; its plant size is suitable for home pot cultivation, and it propagates easily. It is highly "sought after" by people, is one of the common potted flowers in homes, and is also a commonly used flower for flower beds in warm winter regions.
In the peak growing seasons of spring and autumn, it should receive sufficient water so that the potting soil stays moist often, but not waterlogged; on low-temperature cloudy days, generally do not water and do not fertilize; in summer, water less. In the north, the high-temperature season coincides with the rainy season; during this period the plant's root system is relatively weak, so excessive rainwater irrigation should be avoided; consecutive rainy days can cause root rot, so it should be placed in a shaded, cool, high and dry, well-ventilated place. In winter, water according to the indoor temperature; when the room temperature is low, water less, and when the room temperature is high, water more. Geranium has a relatively strong drought tolerance and will not die of dryness if not watered for several days, but old leaves will turn yellow and fall off.
Geranium cutting method: the best cutting time is autumn. In principle, cuttings can be taken in all seasons except summer, but autumn is the best. Because after the vigorous growth in spring and early summer, the geranium plant shape becomes full again, and after the semi-dormant rest in the hot summer, as the weather turns cooler, its vitality bursts forth again, and the branches at this time are the strongest.
I have seen many people use some old branches for cuttings. Perhaps everyone thinks this kind of branch is relatively thick and has a relatively high survival rate, but I personally do not think it is very ideal. Old branches have almost no advantages. I generally use softwood cuttings. Softwood has several advantages: strong vitality, good apical dominance, and relatively rich nutrients. The seedling recovery period is short, while old branches not only root slowly but also carry miscellaneous bacteria and are prone to rot.
The second flower is nasturtium. Nasturtium is very easy to grow and very tough. Nasturtium likes a warm, humid environment and plenty of sunlight. The suitable growth temperature is 18-24°C. It dislikes high summer temperatures and fears waterlogging. It grows well in sandy loam rich in organic matter and with good drainage. After fertilizing and watering, loosen the soil promptly to facilitate aeration. During the growth period, it needs sufficient sunlight, but in the high-temperature season it needs appropriate shading, and at this time it should be placed in a cool and ventilated place. In winter, keep the room temperature at about 15°C and appropriately control fertilizer and water so that it grows normally.
Nasturtium sown in September blooms in November and can keep blooming until the following spring. When sown in spring, the room temperature should be kept above 12-15°C. After sowing, pay attention to drainage and waterlogging prevention, strengthen ventilation, and take care to prevent heatstroke and cooling, otherwise development will be poor. If you want to view flowers during National Day, sow at the end of May and the beginning of June, and in the high-temperature season shade it promptly or move it to a ventilated and cool place to grow; if you want it to bloom in early spring in February-March, sow indoors in October of the previous year, keep the room temperature at about 15°C, and pot it up when it has 3-4 true leaves to achieve the goal.
