If your clivia never grows, just do these two things and it will burst into bloom again

For many plant lovers, clivia is an essential houseplant, with both its leaves and flowers being very beautiful. Its blooming season is in winter and spring, making it a highly ornamental winter flowering plant.
But what should you do if your clivia at home has not grown for a long time and does not bloom either? If you want your clivia to come back to life and bloom profusely, you need to change these two things.
When clivia does not grow, it is largely related to the root system. Vigorous clivia have very well-developed roots. If your clivia shows no sign of growth, that means something has gone wrong with the roots.
Change the soil and repot it. Replace it with some fertile, loose humus soil, mix in some breathable medium such as river sand, then add some decomposed organic fertilizer to the potting soil, so that sufficient nutrients are guaranteed.
If the soil at home is still new, and you find it too much trouble, you can skip repotting and just loosen the soil, then add some fertilizer.
When changing the soil, if you want to change the pot as well, you can do it at the same time. Try not to choose plastic pots or decorative pots with poor breathability.
If your clivia at home is not growing, besides changing the pot and soil, we can also"feed it a little beer". Pour it into the potting soil about once a month, do not pour it into the leaf center; when pouring, to avoid excess, you can dilute the beer's concentration first before pouring.
If your clivia has flower stalk entrapment and cannot push out its flower stalk, pouring a little beer can also help the flower stalk elongate and promote blooming in clivia.
For plant lovers whose clivia grows poorly, besides proper care, you can try these two methods. Maybe they will improve your clivia's growth and let your clivia bloom beautifully again!
