A while ago, I sowed garden balsam at home, and to my surprise, it has already bloomed. If you have garden balsam seeds at home, why not try sowing them yourself.

First, prepare a flower pot and fill it with loose, fertile, well-drained soil, then scatter the garden balsam seeds on the surface of the soil.

After that, cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, then water it thoroughly with a spray bottle. When watering, be careful not to wash the seeds out.

Wrap a layer of cling film over the flower pot, which not only retains moisture but also keeps it warm. Then place it in a ventilated spot, avoiding direct sunlight.

After about ten days or so, you will see the seeds sprout. At this point, avoid exposing the seedlings to strong sun, and water them to keep the soil moist.

When the plants grow to 5 cm to 10 cm, thin them out. Pull out all the thin, small, relatively weak seedlings and the densely growing ones.

When three or four true leaves have grown, you can transplant them into pots. When repotting, be sure to keep a bit of the original soil around the roots to avoid killing them.

After repotting, place them in a shady spot for care. Once they have successfully recovered from transplanting, just keep them in a well-ventilated spot with plenty of light.

Normally, be careful to water them and keep them moist. About every ten days, give them a light application of decomposed fertilizer. After about one or two months, you will see them bloom.
