Training for the Most Beautiful Bays Volunteers: Penghu County Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu Encourages Volunteers to Serve Guests with Enthusiasm

With less than a week to go until the annual conference of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World, the Penghu County Government is pressing ahead with all preparatory work. A staff training session for the "Most Beautiful Bays in the World Carnival and Organization Annual Conference" was recently held in the grand auditorium of the Penghu County Government, bringing together more than 30 volunteers, including retired teachers, students from National Penghu University of Science and Technology, and people from the tourism and hotel industries. County Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu made a special trip to cheer on and encourage the volunteers, affirming their spirit of service and dedication, and expressing the hope that they will receive international friends attending the Most Beautiful Bays annual conference with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.

County Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu stated that Penghu won the right to host the annual conference of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World, inviting nearly 23 countries, more than 50 bay cities, and 250 domestic and international guests to gather together. This is the first time in Penghu's 400 years that it has hosted an annual conference of a global semi-official organization, and it is also the best opportunity for Penghu to promote and market itself internationally. The county government has combined 22 carnival events to bring the world into Penghu and raise its international visibility.

County Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu affirmed the volunteers' spirit of sacrifice and dedication in committing themselves to service for the Most Beautiful Bays annual conference, and pointed out that volunteers are an indispensable force in the government and various civil organizations. Whether in social affairs, police administration, firefighting, culture, education, or tourism, volunteers can be seen contributing their efforts. He expressed the hope that they will welcome guests and tourists from around the world to the beautiful Penghu Bay with enthusiasm and friendly smiles.

The staff for the "Most Beautiful Bays in the World Carnival and Organization Annual Conference" are organized into a conference group and an activity group. During the session, the work content of each group and volunteer service standards were explained, with the hope of being fully prepared with the greatest service capacity to welcome guests from around the world during the period from September 27 to October 1.
