It is especially suitable at temperatures of around 15-20 degrees, in spring and autumn, with a success rate of almost 100%.
The trick to make pothos quickly fill its pot
Actually, this method is very simple: it is cuttings, letting pothos propagate quickly so as to achieve the goal of quickly filling the pot. Many plant lovers may have taken cuttings themselves, but the success rate is not high. The pothos cutting method the editor is sharing today has never failed. Let's take a look at the specific steps!
Materials needed:1 plastic bottle, 20 cm of thick string (cotton thread is best), soil (ordinary garden soil is fine), 1 pot of healthy pothos.
1、Prepare an empty drink bottle. Here the editor uses an empty soda water bottle.
2、After washing the bottle, cut it open from the middle.
3、Make a small hole in the bottle cap, thread the thick cotton string through the middle, and put the cap back on.
4、Turn the upper part of the bottle upside down and fit it into the bottom part of the bottle. In this way, a self-watering pot is ready. Then add soil (the cotton string needs to connect to the middle of the soil).
5、Cut some leaves or branches from a healthy pothos (cuttings taken from branches root faster), insert them into the bottle, and water thoroughly.
6、Then place it in a shaded and ventilated place. In the current season, it will root in two to three weeks. After rooting, transplant it into a pot.
Little tips:
1. Pay attention to the bottom of the drink bottle. If there is no water left at the bottom, remember to water it.
2. Never place it where the blazing sun can reach it, but do not place it in a dark place either. An environment with some scattered light is enough.
