How to grow moss rose? Detailed guide to planting methods and care tips
I. Sowing
First soak the seeds in clean water for about 5 hours, then prepare a seedling tray, add soil to the seedling tray, evenly scatter the seeds on the surface of the soil, then cover the seeds with a very thin layer of soil, press the soil down lightly, and then water, making sure the soil is moist enough and the temperature is kept at around 21 to 24°C; seedlings will emerge after about 7 to 10 days, and once the seedlings grow relatively thick stems and leaves they can be transplanted into pots.
II. Cuttings
Prepare the potting soil in advance, cut off the tender tips of the moss rose, use a bamboo chopstick to poke a hole in the potting soil, insert the tender branch into the hole to a depth of about 2 cm in the soil, water thoroughly after cutting, and maintain a certain humidity; it will take root in about 10 to 15 days, after which you can switch to normal care.
