I. Sowing

Growing Chinese mahogany from whole seeds by sowing has a low survival rate, so before sowing, germination must be promoted in advance. First, soak the seeds in warm water at 30 to 35°C for one day, then take the seeds out, wrap them in gauze, sprinkle with water, and place them in a container. Be careful to keep the gauze moist, and place it in a warm environment with sunlight; once the radicle of the seeds emerges at about 0.5 cm, they can be sown.

II. Division

In early spring, dig up the young seedlings from the roots of mature plants and plant them in a seedling bed. Be careful to water them on time and tend them carefully; wait until the following year when the young seedlings have grown to about 2 m and then plant them in their permanent position.
