How to grow Hami melon? The full process from sowing to harvest

Flowers & Gardening 0 views
Prepare the potting soil, add plenty of base fertilizer to the soil, dig the planting holes, and be careful to keep a certain distance. Sow 2 or 3 seeds in each planting hole, scatter a layer of soil over them, water thoroughly, cover the pot with plastic film, and keep it in a warm environment to grow. When the seedlings reach 5 or 6 cm, transplant and set them out.

1. Preparing the potting soil

Prepare a flower pot about 30 cm in diameter; it is best to choose a deeper pot, and choose loose, breathable, nutrient-rich soil. Plenty of base fertilizer should be applied beneath the soil, such as decomposed cake fertilizer. If growing on a large scale outdoors, organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer can be applied.

2. Sowing method

Dig the planting holes in the soil, and be careful to keep the distance. Sow two to three seeds in each planting hole, scatter a layer of soil over them, then water thoroughly to keep the soil moist. Cover the pot with plastic film, then place it in a warm environment to grow. When the Hami melon sprouts reach 5 or 6 cm, transplant and set them out.
