Garbage picked up from the roadside used as fertilizer for growing flowers, use a little each time, and the flower roots grow even better

Although flowers are beautiful, some varieties are extremely difficult to grow. They have their own "requirements" for watering and fertilizing. Once something is done wrong, they will show you yellow leaves and root rot. At this time, most people will go buy some corresponding fertilizers, hoping to take good care of their beloved flowers at home. However, these bags of flower fertilizer also cost quite a bit of money each time, no wonder many people say that growing flowers costs money!

But do you really need to spend a lot of money to buy flower fertilizer to improve these situations? Huahua has a money-saving little trick here, and that is to use "garbage" to grow flowers. This kind of garbage can be seen everywhere. If you find some and take it home to use on your flower plants, the effect will absolutely amaze you.

1. Eggshells

The first kind of "garbage" Huahua wants to talk about is the eggshells commonly seen in our homes. Eggshells contain a large amount of calcium and trace elements. Using them to grow flowers can not only strengthen the flower roots but also make the leaves look more glossy.

For the specific method of operation, we first need to crush the eggshells. It is best to rinse them with clean water beforehand, so that part of the dust and bacteria on the eggshells can be removed. After crushing the eggshells, we can place them at the bottom of the flower pot, which can enhance the air permeability of the soil. They can also be placed directly on the surface of the soil in the flower pot, letting them ferment with the soil on their own to provide nutrients.

2. Peanut shells

It is exactly autumn now, the peanut harvest season. We can buy a few jin of peanuts, and after eating them, collect the unwanted peanut shells to use for the flowers. Because peanut shells are relatively hard in texture, they are perfect for loosening the soil, and they can also be fermented to use as fertilizer for growing flowers.

Placing peanut shells at the bottom of the flower pot can enhance the air permeability inside the soil of the flower pot, so that even if water accumulation occurs inside, it can be alleviated. We can also spread peanut shells directly on the soil surface just like eggshells. In winter they can keep things warm, and in summer they can provide shade, with very good results. If any flower lover has orchids at home, they can put the peanut shells into a bag, add water, ferment and decompose them, and finally use them as fertilizer for the orchids, and the flowering speed can also increase quite a bit.

3. Pinecones

Pinecones are the fruits produced by pine trees that we often see. Pine trees can be seen everywhere in life. Generally, in autumn and winter, pinecones will hang on the trees. Usually when we see them, we do not think much of them. Only later did we realize that using pinecones to grow flowers can actually produce such great growth results.

Pinecones contain oils and various trace elements. Using them to grow flowers can prevent root rot. We first need to soak the collected pinecones in disinfectant solution for two hours, and after soaking, put them in the sun to dry. The dried pinecones can then be used. Place them at the bottom of the flower pot, and they can drain water and allow air flow, so the flowers will naturally grow better.
